But she really surprised the industry further, when she recently became the only speaker from our entertainment industry to address an audience including global leaders on world peace and unity at US president Donald Trump's National Prayer Breakfast in Washington DC.

Now it seems Evelyn has a new list of surprises up her sleeve. Turns out, her frequent trips to Los Angeles were not about a boyfriend, but movies in the West. "Super exciting times. Nice to get inquiries and read scripts in LA," she's just tweeted.

What's more! Rumour has it that Evelyn also has an agent in the US. So don't be surprised if she's the next from Bollywood to add to the escapades of Priyanka Chopra, Deepika Padukone and Irrfan Khan's in Hollywood.

And while some of our actors have been prepping their creative juices and boosting their adrenalin looking at international movies, Evelyn's not even stopping at that. Her recent trip to the States, had New York based music producer Brooklyn Shanti fly down to LA to make more music with her.

Yes! She's written and recorded a few new songs and shot a music video on her recent trip. Need we say, the numbers can be expected to even better her last attempt at singing 'Something Beautiful'.

Plus, apart from Jab Harry Met Sejal, Evelyn will also be seen playing the lead opposite Amit Sadh in Jack & Dil. So her year ahead promises a lot.

When Evelyn Sharma had to give a talk at Donald Trump's National Prayer Breakfast in Washington, she tip-toed to Los Angeles on a holiday. There she was spotted doing yoga on a hilltop, before heading to Washington DC.

We know that she's been shaking a leg with the Kangna singer and music producer Dr Zeus in the Party Nonstop music video.

We know the teeny-bopper is quite happening on her Twitter and Facebook accounts and an icon of sorts on Instagram. We know she even builds houses for the poor under the Habitat For Humanityprojects. And we also know that she has launched her blogsite  Evelyn's Secrets where she gives out all sorts of personal beauty and fashion tips.

But what we don't know is the secret behind her numerous trips to LA! And we don't know who the mystery guy is... whose hand she held there! Evelyn has not been revealing those secrets on Evelyn's Secrets. Hey girl, tell us what you have been hiding... tell us, tell us. ;-)

When a Mumbai-based tabloid said wrote (snippet) that it surpised that Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani actress Evelyn Sharma has fans, the starlet's PR Dale Bhagwagar got catty as he slammed the publication, with a hit clearly below the belt. 

He said, "There was a time, the spicy gossip tabloids ruled. But now, mobile space has taken over traditional media. The web, broadband, live television, radio and all things digital are the new world order." Dale gives an example of how fast Arnab Goswami's Republic TV has caught on with the youth, thanks to the channel's digital outreach.

"Advertising and marketing for every print media is tougher now. Newsprint costs have gone up. Jobs in news media are at stake. At such a time, who is to ascertain that sensationalism and negative publicity may not be a psychological thing for editors or journalists to vent out all that pent up irritation?

"Itna frustration toh banta hai. Lets forgive them," 

For the record, Evelyn Sharma will next be seen in a key role in Imtiaz Ali's forthcoming film with Shah Rukh Khan and Anushka Sharma.

Evelyn Sharma gets 3 million hits and a piano!!

Evelyn Sharma is on cloud nine. Her music video Party Nonstopwith Kangna singer-music producer Dr Zeus along with Punjabi singer Jasmine Sandlas (of Kick's Yaar Na Mila fame) and rapper Ikka (of High Heels fame), has crossed three million hits on YouTube within just about three days.

 

Though Evelyn has only acted in Party Nonstop, her publicist Dale Bhagwagar reveals that Evelyn has a secret fetish for music. "She doesn't only write lyrics and sing, but can also play a tune or two." The actress had earlier released her own cool English song Something Beautiful with international artist Brooklyn Shanti.

 

"From the handsome price she has received for Party Nonstop, Evelyn has just bought a piano for herself," Dale divulges and adds, "Don't be surprised if she churns out her own music soon." Aha!

Meanwhile, a lot is happening in Evelyn's life. A while ago, the gal gave her first international speech at US president Donald Trump's National Prayer Breakfast in Washington. Next, she built houses for the poor under the Habitat for Humanity organization in Karjat on the outskirts of Mumbai. Her latest Bandra fundraiser for her charity organization Seams With Dreams was a grand success too.

And soon, Evelyn will be seen in Imtiaz Ali's next with Shah Rukh Khan and Anushka Sharma. Seems like her jawaani life is alldeewani on a nautanki overdrive for her yaariyaan with sunny sunny times. Now what's missing is some ishqedarriyaan with a prince charming making an entry to say, 'main tera hero'. :p Maybe someone, Evelyn could play her piano for? ;-)

Evelyn has launched a brand new website called EvelynsSecrets.com, where her way of getting intimate is sharing her personal beauty secrets with the public. "It's my way to give something back for the love and support I've been getting," quips the spunky lover of wellness and travel.

What's more! Whenever she gets time, Evelyn chats with her fans on the site, and even encourages them to share their beauty secrets with her. A first for any celeb indeed!

So is all the beauty information only going to be for the sake of educating? Or is Evelyn planning to convert it into a business model in the future? "You never know what the future holds," she quips and reveals her dream of owning a spa. Aha.

Evelyn Sharma goes through dust and grind to build homes on Women's Day

While most celebs headed to felicitation events, seminars or posted their views on Twitter on International Woman's Day, there was one who went through dust and grind. Actress and fashion philanthropist Evelyn Sharma joined some prominent women leaders from different fields in an initiative to build homes for underprivileged women.

The Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani actress who was last seen speaking at Donald Trump's National Prayer Breakfast in Washington, drove down to the little city of Karjat adjoining the Sahyadri Western Ghats near the banks of the River Ulhas in Maharashtra, to participate in a house building activity arranged under the campaign ‘WOMEN BUILD India’ by the Habitat for Humanity organization. Evelyn is the youth ambassador for their 'Young Leaders BUILD' movement.

In Karjat, Evelyn volunteered to build a home for Changuna Sarai who lives in Sarai Wadi with her family. Changuna and her husband Suresh Sarai are agricultural labourers. With their meager daily wages, they try to make ends meet. To add to their difficulties is a lack of proper sanitation facilities for her three daughters who are growing up.

Overjoyed with the development, Changuna said, "My husband, my daughters and myself; we live with our extended family. We are ten members in all and have been living in an extremely small house. Our condition has affected the education of my daughters. The new house is a dream come true for our family. Now we won't have to worry about a roof over our daughters heads."

'WOMEN BUILD India' is a part of Habitat for Humanity's strategy that aims to achieve holistic community development with shelter and sanitation at its core. Its objective is to make ‘Housing for All’ and ‘Swachh Bharat Abhiyan’ a reality by 2020.

"It is encouraging to see how the Government of India is addressing these needs through various campaigns. As women leaders from different fields, we must play a part. This was one of the best days of my life," quipped Evelyn who is also the founder and managing director of Seams For Dreams Charity Foundation. Attagirl!
